Any other files and folders that come with the emulator should also be placed in this directory, so you retain the emulator directory structure. The actual emulator executable should be named default.xbe, and should be in the root level of this directory i.e.
Blueshogun96 has released the alpha source code and has since joined the development team for Cxbx. Xenoborg is another Xbox emulator for Windows, created by blueshogun96. It doesn’t run it particularly well and hasn’t updated since 2003, so don’t expect anything more.

I currently have a Modded xbox with a 300Gig Hard drive in it, I have all my Emulators on there and I have XBMC to play all my favorite MP3’s & Vids. Cxbx is hit and miss, Xemu is similar hit and miss for OG Xbox. I dont see why the RetroArch team would invest time in this until the emulators get better. Give the simple smarts to work on em anyone can mod. Lets see.The fact that XBox emulation is not great as about 50 of games load (not play).
Xbox original emulator mod#
FTP it to your PC, and edit it with any text editor to make sure that the Emulators section of the menu is looking in the same location as you have placed the emulators on your Xbox. The xbox is the ulitmate mod machine due to the fact that its a simple P3 733mhz with a modded dvd drive and a standard PC hard drive. The config file should be E:\config.xml (or C:\config.xml if you have selected the unprotected installation version, which is not recommended).
You need to check the config file for your dashboard, to see where it is looking for the Emulators.
